CRM’s: What are they?

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is simply a strategy for maintaining customer and business relationships. Over the years this has been developed from a strategy to a system (Customer Relationship managER), tools designed to streamline customer relations, increase business productivity and revenue!

The primary goal of customer relationship management systems is to integrate and automate sales, marketing, and customer support. Therefore, these systems typically have a dashboard that gives an overall view of the three functions.

Salesforce has a very intuitive and easy to use dashboard which provides client information, past sales, previous marketing efforts, and more. It is essentially a summary of the relationship between the customer and company. Designed for you to analyse and act upon to improve customer relations and ROI.

Most CRM’s are tailored to suit each business that uses them and large companies will likely have their own CRM’s in place. SalesForce offers a high degree of customisability to best suit their users and all of the above dashboard information can be changed to best suit each users needs and wants.

Why we’re writing about it?

We have created an integration with Salesforce that allows a user to send and receive SMS through Salesforce.

The Voodoo SMS Extension for Salesforce will be an invaluable integration for customer and client management. Our developers have built an integration for users to be able to easily manage communications, ultimately resulting in customer satisfaction and producing a high ROI.


We need Salesforce users to help us understand how our integration would work best within the platform to enable us to refine and optimise the extension. Take a look at our extensions page here.

This is a completely new integration for our portal and we are looking for people who are happy to go through a beta testing period with us to optimise this system before it goes fully live.
