April has been a challenging month for all of us. We have been, and still are, working hard to support your business by providing great customer service and support. As you may already know from our previous updates, we are still operating as normal.
Thanks to our Business Continuity Plan as part of our ISO 27001 certification, we were prepared to operate remotely, should the need arise. Our team is here to provide you with support via phone, email, and live chat. There is no loss of quality or customer service.
SMS is now more important than ever since so many of us are working remotely. It is important to maintain team connections during this time, for your business and for your employees. Team communication is crucial every day but especially during the lockdown; both for your business and your employees well-being. Don’t forget that you can open up 2 way communication by using keywords or virtual mobile numbers (VMNs). 2 way communication doesn’t just have to be for your employees, why not ask your customers for their feedback or suggestions? Speak to a member of our team or look at our website for more information.
There are many factors to consider when asking yourself this question. One is the nature of your business, if you are a restaurant or takeaway owner, it would be pointless to send out your latest offer after the dinner rush has ended. Sending the campaign around 4pm means the customer has time to change their mind, and take advantage of your offer. Sending a campaign in the morning means the customer may read the text but not be interested at that moment and forget about the offer.
Similarly, some B2C e-commerce companies would typically target ‘Pay Day’ where funds are generally more available.
The key to when is the best time is down to knowing your business, industry and more importantly, your customer.
Our team has a wide range of experience on how to maximise your campaigns and ROI. We aren’t just here to support you, if we are able to educate, advise and maximise your impact of SMS usage then please get in touch on 01484 599311 and simply ask to book in for a WebSMS MOT check.
